It was cloudy Saturday morning when my wife walked by this and I said, 'what nutcase put this up' ? Later in the afternoon, we passed by it again. The sun was out and I saw the beauty of it. You could see the clouds and buildings reflecting in the sculpture. There were brides and grooms next to it having... more

This is a very unique piece of art. Who ever thought of this was good. This was the first thing we took a picture with while at Millennium Park. Great idea. more

After having seen this structure here and other websites and literature I knew we just had to see it. It is one of the most incredible pieces of art ever. Awe inspiring. You can just gaze at it for ever and it is so interactive which is funny because it does move or do anything but sit there. This is... more

Surely a new Chicago icon. Come see it on your visit to Millennium Park. If you take some pictures and have a photo editor, play around with them - it makes great special effects! Make sure not to miss the rest of the park however -- it is just as wonderful. more

Cloud Gate on the AT & T Plaza in Millennium Park is British artist Anish Kapoor's first outdoor work installed in the United States. The 110-ton elliptical sculpture is highly polished stainless steel. It reflects the city's famous skyline. Visitors love to stand beneath the sculpture to see their distorted reflection. It is a unique addition to this park. more
