Chicago's old water tower has intrigued me since I was a child. Now, as an adult I am charmed by its garden (which made me feel like I was in Paris!) and grateful that the city has preserved it all these years. then you should check it out....all they have are alot of pictures from the fire that destroyed Chicago..no narrators..no sound in the background...no info about the fire..just pictures......there are no restrooms...its a small space and should take no more then 15mins to complete...its nice to visit when raining or extremely hot more
My husband and I happened upon the Water Tower while strolling on the Magnificent Mile. We decided to go in because it was free! A small photo gallery, we saw photographs of the aftermath of the Great Chicago fire. more
Oldest of the four vertical malls on the Mag. Mile and still the nicest of the four for selection. One drawback is that it needs more rest room facilities. more
