I love zoos. I was excited to go and see the animals at this free zoo. I didn't expect anything grand and over the top since it is free, but I did expect to see animals in the exhibits! Visiting over Memorial day weekend we went to the Lincoln Park Zoo. It is awesome. What can I say. The zoo was busy for a Saturday but it did not seem busy if you know what I mean. The exhibits were clean and very nice and educatioal. Been to many zoos this is one of the best in America. A... more

Lincoln Park is one of the best parks in the nation, especially when you add in the Lincoln Park Zoo and the Lake Michigan shoreline. There is just so much to do (driving range, beaches, walking paths, bike paths, free zoo, restaurant, plenty of places to sit in the shade), great views, and it is literally surrounded on three sides... more
