Lots of tourist attractions in chicago have an admission fee. This does not and that alone makes it worth a visit. It is on the waterfront. You can take a water taxi here, go to the Imax theater, the beer garden has a wonderful Bloody Mary. The Crystal garden is a fun area to take a snapshot. The funhouse maze... more

We had an OK time. The pier is nice and the musis is nice. The rides are alright. We only rode a couple because the others didn't look that great. We rode the motion simulator which I thought was pretty lame. You really didn't feel like you were going through these places on the screen like you are supposed too.... more

Navy Pier is easily accesible on foot, but wow, there were so many people! It's very family friendly with lots of fun eating places and rides and stuff, but I had already eaten and wasn't interested in games and rides. My main objectives were to get a fun souvenir and to enjoy some nice scenery. There was a fun magnet... more

Navy Pier is a fun place to ride some nice rides, enjoy some pretty scenery, and catch a great boat ride! Eat before or after your visit, the restaurants are not the best! The ferris wheel is so much fun and offers a great view of the city! The Shoreline Sightseeing Tour is enjoyable and offers a great photo opportunity.... more

We were there the beginning of October and the weather was great . The most outstanding part of our visit was the FREE stained galss exhibit . There were many works by Tiffany. They could easily have charged for this exhibit and it still would have been a good deal. more

We took the free trolley to The Navy Pier. It is one of Chicago's most -visited tourist attraction. Admission is free & there is a lot to see & do there. There is a giant Ferris wheel ($5 ride), a carousel ($4 ride) & other rides. There is an Imax Theatre, a Stained Glass Museum, Chicago Children's Museum, fireworks every... more

This used to be dismissed as "touristy" but then most people who go there are actually tourists! Nowadays it has a diverse choice of things to see and do. Many sails leave from this pier, there is an Imax theatre, endless shops, stalls and choice of foods like churros, popcorn nd ice cream. There are also bars, Joe's Bee Bop... more

My husband and I went to Chicago for a trade show , I had heard about the Navy pier, and wasn't real sure what it was all about. The first day we arrived we took a water taxi from the shed museum to the Pier, Upon arriving at the pier I was in Awe... It was such a beautiful, fun... more

This is a great place to people watch and enjoy a nice stoll, but it wasn't as exciting as we thought it would be. There are plently of places to get something to eat both in doors and out and several places to get a drink, but don't plan on spending more than a couple of hours here. more
