This two stage blues joint is proud of its true blues heritage. It shuns any corporate connections. This is authentic, and not pre-packaged. The musicians vary, of course, but the house band is very good. The club is on Halsted Street in Lincoln Park near Depaul University (across from the equally known B.L.U.E.S.). If you can only make it to one Blues Bar while you are in Chicago this should be it. There are 2 stages and musice is almost non-stop until 4am. The beer prices are decent and soul food kitchen in back isn't bad either. more
