She shopped till she dropped on her 10th birthday. Two full floors of nothing but American Girl "stuff". The theater was excellent, the girls really brought the stories to life. The new American Girl Place is amazing. It's two stories and filled with cool displays and tons of dolls and accessories. We took our six year old for her first visit and we purchased a Just Like Me Doll. It made our trip to Chicago a great experience for her. more

It was a terrible experience. This is torture if you're a guy. $100 for a lunch for four (two were kids meals consisting of hot dogs or chicken strips). Food wasn't even good.
