The Millennium park is a large open area right on Michigan Ave (aka the "Miracle Mile") directly in the heart of the city. It is a short walk (a block or so) to the fantastic Art Institute. Millennium Park contains many great things to view and take pictures with. One of the coolest things to see is the giant mirrored bean located at the front of the park, its a great spot to take a picture. more

Even in winter - this is awesome - see my other review of the Shedd Aquarium - as that is not worth the money - and this is FREE - awesome sculptures - and guess what - if you dont like it - you didnt lose a dime. Nice place - clean - and worth it. more

The park is wonderful, despite its high price tag. In addition to the famous "Bean" and water-spurting mouths fountain, don't miss the lovely peristyle and the snakelike bridge over Columbus drive.
