We took this tour along with Grand Chicago City Tour (North & South Side). Along with these tours, you get another perspective of Chicago. And taken all together it was a good attraction But Chicago is no San Francisco in terms of scenery, hills, and mountains. more

Chose to visit the John Hancock Observatory rather than the Sears Tower after guidebook and local recommendations. We visited after 6pm and there was no line anywhere. We had a chance to watch the sunset from the Observatory, view three different states as well as Lake Michigan and the entire Chicago city. more

We've been to Chicago many times and enjoy all the city has to offer. And, we've been to the Hancock Observatory before and enjoyed the views from 1000 feet above Chicago. As others reviewers have stated, save yourself some time and money and go to the lounge on 95th. There usually isn't a line if you get there before 5pm on a weekday, so you can get window seating. The view is ok. Like in any high rise building. But the charge of 11 dollars was too much to my opinion. Even when you go to CN tower in Toronto you get more of your money worth. The access to the elevators is very unconvinient. The stuff is uncaring (they could at least smile). more

We visited during the holiday parade and tree lighting. We enjoyed the hancock much more than Sears. We also got to visit Santa at the same time!! Kids loved it and it really is the best view in town. more
