Garfield Park Conservatory - where have you been all my life?? Lived in suburb of Chicago my whole life - first time experience with conservatory . . . I cannot even express how beautiful! Relaxing, inspiring - a true getaway in the midst of the city. A must-see for gardeners and a great spot to take kids if you wish.... more
Lovely conservatory with nice old fashioned Victorian feel yet modernized and educational exhibits. Palm house and ferns are especially lovely. Garfield Park Conservatory is a beautiful historic conservatory that is just as notable for its lovely architecture as its abundant plants.
