Pleasantly surprised that after booking a great rate on hotwire, we had a 2-room suite with king bed! A/C in the room did not work at all - but we weren't in the room except to sleep. We just spent a very enjoyable weekend at the Ave. Family and friends used the Ave as our "home base", while attending a family wedding. The hotel renovation is complete. OUr stay in the Avenue was quite nice, the 2 queen bed studio suite is quite nice. Tv reception is poor, but the view and bedding more than make up for it!!! If you do stay at this hotel, be sure to walk from home (it's probably cheaper.) Parking is outrageous, and you will not be informed of this charge until after you check out of the hotel. If I had been informed of the extremely high rates to park my car, I would have taken a train or even parked somewhere... more

I loved my stay at the Avenue Hotel. The staff were wonderful, rooms clean, and the location was amazing. The pool just recently opened which was a nice surprise. The sky lounge has a very nice view in the evening but should stay open later. Great value and wonderful people. more
