We stayed recently for 2 nights at this property and returned very surprised to see it reviewed so positively on TripAdvisor - perhaps it says more about the lack of moderately priced properties in River North than the actual quality and value offered by this hotel. Our first impressions here were negative. The front desk staff is about what you'd... more

The hotel staff were very friendly and competent . The hotel is clean and our room was fine. The location of the hotel is good, it's about a 2 block walk to the red line subway. Breakfast is served from 6-10AM. The breakfast bar is very popular with families. If you plan to eat after 8AM be prepared to deal... more

Fantastic - rooms large, clean; beds comfortable; tv appropriate size for distance between screen and bed. great decor, evocative of arts and craft architecture - nice little touches such as fresh apples in bowls in lobby friendly and helpful staff - gave very good directions near to almost everything - can walk to Field Museum, short taxi ride to Wrigley... more

This was one of the best experiences we've ever had on a vacation. The room was wonderful! It was a true two-room suite, complete with full-size refrigerator, stove, and microwave. It was very spacious and provided plenty of room for the four of us. The flat screen tv's and very comfortable beds were added bonuses. It was ideally located in... more

1. Free parking. Paid 171 for double bed suite and free parking - fabulous. We had a separate bedroom, bathroom, kitchen with microwave, stove, dishwasher, fridge, 2 flat screen tvs, and a living room. 2. Location. located between State and Dearborn, it's a couple blocks to Weber Grill, Trader Joes, Michigan Ave, Rush St, Chicago Theatre. It's right in the... more

I stayed her for two night during a business trip. The staff of both the hotel and the Italian attached are super friendly. The rooms are clean and the pool area is also very clean. I was disapointed with the fitness room and I am always miffed at hotel putting Saunas on a timer. By the time the thing has... more

My daughter-in-law had a conference at the Marriott. I came along to watch my six month granddaughter. We had a one bedroom suite and used every inch of bothrooms. Our room had a kitchen, living room and bedroom with two double beds. There was lots of room for the port-a-crib in the bedroom plus luggage. We used the refrigerator to... more

I really liked this hotel and it was one of the cheaper alternatives! Chicago hotels really are at a premium I found. This one was comfortable, very central with big rooms and helpful staff. You're right in the Near North area which is full of good restaurants and bars. I recommend the nearby Mexican place, Frontera Grill. One issue though... more

We stayed three nights in a “large corner suite”. These suites a very spacious with a large bedroom with separate sink, large bathroom (with two entrances), living room area with a decent pullout coach, full kitchen and a dining area. We had ample of space for a family of four. Although the room was clean it showed signs of wear.... more
