Location is perfect. Spacious. Very clean. Great view from 18th floor. There was a construction site right next door to the hotel but we never heard it. Only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Room was clean and spacious, bed was very comfortable, bathroom was large with a nice big vanity and walk-in shower. We want to make a great impression right from the start, and we did not succeed with that when you arrived at the hotel. We apologize that you had numerous issues with your room. Having stayed at the Omni Chicago Hotel three times in the past seven years for our annual shopping/sightseeing trips, we have found this hotel to be the most convenient and comfortable hotel. Our recent 5 day stay was very pleasant and our overall experience at the Omni was very good. The suite-style room gave us a sense of space and it was very comfortable. I'm surprised to see all the comments about great service. We received poor service immediately starting with check -in. We booked a corner room on hotels.com and were charged $50 extra for the room than a standard suite, but upon arrival we were told there was no way we had booked that room through a third party. We are sorry that your stay with us was not up to our standards. Our many positive reviews are wonderful to read, but we don’t want any of our guests to have to argue with the front desk, deal with a lost bag or have an unclean room. We most certainly know you can specify a room type on Hotels.com...
