My girlfriend and I go away every September for a girl's weekend and our destination this trip was Chicago. We did a lot of research as we always do, to find the best value for a hotel. The Affinia Chicago didn't disappoint! We had a very large, clean room with a plasma flat screen t.v., a sitting area and what... more

I stayed at Affinia for three nights as part of a leisure trip to Chicago. I shared the room with a friend. Room: The room was very large with a standard size bathroom and two double beds (King size available at same price). The room included a desk and large television, along with an ok view of surrounding buildings and... more

A few friends and I were at the Affinia for the 2009 Taste of Chicago, and our stay was absolutely wonderful! The hotel has a great location. It is a block away from Michigan Avenue, so the shops, movie theater, and restaurants are all nearby. The hotel provides a free trolley to and from Navy Pier on the weekends, but... more

The suite we had was perfect. Bed really comfy and you get to choose from 5 or 6 different pillows. Half block to Magnificent Mile. Parking was high but so is everything in the area. Victor, one of the bellman was a real hoot and made us feel very welcome. I will definitely go back. more

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the Affinia Chicago and absolutely loved this hotel. The rooms were very modern, it did feel like a suite. The bed area was set a few steps down from the refrigerator and bathroom - everything was very clean and comfortable. The concierge helped us with finding restaurants and sights and the bartender... more

Christopher, the conceige, was so helpful and friendly;.. he called me by name everytime we came into the lobby. Such a special feeling in this place... they also have a lovely bar... more

We stayed at two hotels in Chicago to get two different experiences during the week. The doorman and bellman were so very nice and personable. Always greeted by name. Our reservation was for a king room by default, and they were very nice about switching us to a double to accommodate our family. The 22nd floor room faced south and... more

Pros: Excellent location near north Michigan Ave, Aveda products, comfy bed, friendly bellman Cons: tiny elevators, metallic orange wallpaper in the bathroom, $48 parking, $9.50/day internet Tips: We parked for $25/day about three blocks away at a public parking lot located on the corner of State Street and Illinois St, diagonally across from the Courtyard Marriott. It was a warm... more

We spent one night at this hotel on our way home after a train vacation. The service was exceptional. The room was amazing. I had a good rate and thought I must have been upgraded to a suite only to find out that it was a "standard room!" I never had a standard room with a living room, bedroom, separate... more

We stayed for 4 nights at this hotel--staff very polite and helpful! Concierge very helpful in arranging side trips and restaurant recommendations. We loved the hotel and our room that was immaculate and extremely comfortable. Best Location close to a lot of great restaurants and easy to get around town.. Overall, we would like to come back to this Hotel more
