Loved the Newly Remodeled Chicago Affinia! Stayed there in a suite on upper floor- very comfortable large room. The location is the best-close to everything- one block from Michigan Ave. The rooftop bar has a wonderful view of the city, best raspberry margaritas! The staff was very helpful. C-House restaurant in the hotel was excellent and Ginos East is right... more

I went to Chicago for a weekend to meet up with a IL friend for shipping. My friend was interested in going to the Magnificent Mile area so I chose the Affinia Hotel. The hotel is in a perfect location. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. I took the hop on hop... more

My husband and I celebrated his 40th birthday with a night's stay at the Affinia Chicago in a standard king room on the 18th floor. We got a decent rate for the room through AAA. It is rated as a 4-star, but I would only give it 3 - 3 1/2. The room felt old to me, with trendy furnishings... more

My wife and I booked our stay at the Affinia Chicago through Perfect Escapes. Not only did we get a great rate $169, but that got us upgraded to the Junior Suite(largest room) and included a full breakfast in the C-House restaurant and allowed us to check out of our room at 4pm. We did request to have a room... more

My fiance and I went to Chicago to enjoy a weekend in the city. We chose the Affinia because of the modern look and the location- and neither disappointed. The decor was beautifully streamlined and the rooms were simple and clean. Located on Superior St, the hotel is east of the Magnificent Mile and provides the perfect base for getting... more

The hotel was exceptional; it is my new favorite hotel in Chicago. Arrived on a snowy March day for an overnight stay, staff were full of good suggestions (there's deep dish pizza with in a few steps of the hotel). Room was right above the door - we heard zero street noise. Caught a cold and staff made me feel... more

The hotel decor was dated and not very attractive, but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Staff was friendly and I would rate this hotel as average. more

The Affinia is a nice hotel with comfortable rooms but a terrible lift (elevator) system. Two go to floors 1 - 7 and two go to floors 1 - 20something. I was on floor 10 and had to wait ages every time I called the lift from which of course only two were suitable for my journey. When I left... more

This place was fabulous! Ideal location. The C-View Rooftop Lounge was decorated beautifully. Didn't eat there, but the menus sounded great at both C-View and C-House, and they served great unique drinks. The concierge was so helpful. "Experience Kits" are a great idea! The room was beautiful and well worth the money -- about the same as the Sheraton, which... more
