We were in Chicago on a stop over and were really pleasantly suprised how lovely a city it was for a short break. Hotel location is great, just off magnificent mile. My wife and I stayed here for a one-night getaway, and I was pleasantly surprised. The lobby, elevators and halls were smallish, as is to be expected from a boutique hotel that dates to the 1930's. They were nonetheless well-appointed. Check-in was smooth, the valet fast. The room itself was SWEET. It was a bit small, but well appointed too.... more
