We were in Chicago on a stop over and were really pleasantly suprised how lovely a city it was for a short break. Hotel location is great, just off magnificent mile. We had 2 rooms both were a great value! Family members stayed at the four seasons and spent $400.00 a night more than our rooms. My wife and I stayed here for a one-night getaway, and I was pleasantly surprised. The lobby, elevators and halls were smallish, as is to be expected from a boutique hotel that dates to the 1930's. I've just returned from 5 nights in Chicago staying at the Whitehall. The hotel was for me, perfect. A great location just off the Magnificent Mile. Close to all the shops and restaurants nearby.
