Elderly Motel on a fairly busy Junction in the northern part of Chicago. A reasonable cost option for a far northside hotel. Free parking, free beakfast, decent rooms, not too noisy. Very convenient to Lake Shore Drive. Straight out Peterson to the Edens. more

Bad location, 10 minute walk from nearest subway station. Paper thin walls. I could hear the people talking next door! Rooms were clean. Much better to stay futher out in a hotel beside a subway. more

Decided to stay here due to it's proximity to a concert venue. We, my girlfriend and I, were pleasantly surprised with the motel and the neighborhood. The parking was abundant and relatively secure. For the price, the Heart of Chicago is an OUTSTANDING motel. Any complaints I might have -- noisy A/C, slightly cramped shower -- are so small that they are far outweighed by the positives.
