I booked this apartment after reading the great reviews on Trip Advisor. It is a lovely place. Best of all is the location. Within walking distance to all the sights, yet on a quiet, leafy street. Excellent location within easy reach of all the sites,shops,lake all the places you could visit many bars cafes with in walking distance but not within ear shot the hotel is in a quiet very safe street , the rooms are big and have all you need to make your stay comfortable. more

My wife and I have just spent two nights at Flemish House and we could not praise it too highly. We found Flemish House through its high rating on TripAdvisor but should have paid closer attention to the description 'apartment B&B.' A better description is 'short stay' apartments or efficiency units. Tom and Mike provided a really warm welcome at Flemish House despite the temperatures outside being the lowest for 11 years! The building is ideally located a couple of blocks north of the Hancock building. It would take months to visit all of the restaurants, bars and attractions within half a mile of Flemish House, yet E Cedar street itself... more

We stayed at the Flemish house for five days, not nearly enough. Tom and Mike were the perfect Hosts. The rooms are beautiful yet practical. The location could not be beat. We were able to walk to all downtown and Rush street locations. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else the next time I visit the greatest of cities. more

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful stay at The Flemish House of Chicago. This is a lovely mansion in a great, convenient-to-everything neighborhood and the accommodation is gracious and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here. more
