i only had a night in chicago, and this was close to a few restaurants and bars i wanted to check out. the neighborhood was cool and had some good shopping. i had a hard time getting into the city from here, mostly because i got confused with the buses, but it's still in a good spot. the rooms were... more

My colleagues and I have been staying at this Days Inn for many years. The location is great and it's in a converted older brick buidling. What really makes this an incredible place is the staff. They are dedicated, caring, personable --- very concerned about making your stay the best, whether for business or pleasure. This is an incredible find... more

Our family stayed at the Days Inn for the Chicago Marathon. The price was an excellent value compared to what we would have been charged for a downtown hotel. The location is still very good, in a neighborhood with many hip restaurants that looked very safe, and a few blocks from the metro/subway. Neil at the front desk was outstanding... more

This was my second time staying here and i really like the place, the staff are great and really helpful, there was one guy in particular who has been on the front desk everytime i have stayed, i cant remember his name but he seems to be senior and he is really nice. The room was a little small but... more

I stayed at this hotel for a three nights toward the end of September, 2009. I had booked a standard king size room, but at check-in, was upgraded to a business suite, which we appreciated very much. This is probably one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in; and also one of the quietest. I had a room facing... more

We spent two nights here toward the end of September, 2009. Our room was spacious, bed was comfy, and bathroom bordered on elegant. The building is kind of an odd shape--almost a square with a "courtyard" in the middle. We were on the 4th floor facing into the courtyard, and our room was very quiet. I'd guess that the lower... more

We stayed here one night, the room was large, very comfy and of good quality. The staff were nice and helpful. There were a few bars and restaurants closeby, and downtown was a short bus ride away. So overall I would give this a thumbs up. more

The hotel is relatively close to the downtown. it takes about 20 minutes to Magnificent Mile to the heart of the city by bus. Room was tiny but clean. Its comfort is more than enough if you just need a place to stay at night. Probably you would prefer to spend your time out Chicago.. Days Inn is good choice..... more

This hotel is in a super location: lots of restaurants, good transportation nearby, shopping, attractions (zoo), bars, etc. The one problem we had was that the doormen or bellman (hard to tell which were which) had bad odors. It hits you as soon as you get in the doors. They hand out just inside the front doors to the hotel.... more
