Our family of 5 just returned from a short vacation (2 days) to the Windy City. I have stayed in a couple of downtown Chicago hotels, and this hotel by far had the best staff and service of any of them. From the parking attendant to the bellhop, the front desk clerk to the concierge...everyone was wonderful. The location was... more

My husband and I booked the Embassy Suites for a long vacation weekend with our 20 month old son. This was our first trip with our son, so we were very concerned about how he would sleep in a new environment. The hotel was very accommodating, especially with regard to our need for a crib. They originally gave us a... more

I too think this Embassy Suites should be in top ten of Chicago Hotels. It is in the most perfect location being usually within 3-5 blocks of excellent restaurants and shopping. We loved employee Michael and Phillip was excellent with all of our many questions. The breakfast was typical Embassy Suites and done well and efficiently. The manager's reception was... more

Hello from the Embassy Chicago Downtown! We are happy to know that you enjoyed your stay....and yes you happened to come at a very busy time with a large "young" group in-house but I am glad the Night Manager was able to assist with the noise, as we take that very seriously here! We look forward to serving you again...

Stayed several nights in Chicago to take in the sights and attend a MN Twins/Cubs game at Wrigley field. The location of the hotel was awesome. We walked nearly everywhere and is only a couple of blocks from the Red Line/CTA so getting to Wrigley was a snap. Room was clean and staff was super helpful. Breakfast was perfect for... more

The staff at the Embassy Suites are amazing especially the breakfast staff! The girls who clear the tables are so friendly and very helpful. The omelets are to die for and to top it off the young manager even helps clear the tables with the girls and still has time to fill up coffee for everyone and seemed so genuine... more

I stayed in room 538, a handicapped room. I'm 5'10. The shower was not only too short, but the sliding pole the shower head is attached to was broken. I had a meeting at 7am Wednesday morning. My hairdryer started smoking after 5 minutes of use, putting me behind. The front desk kindly sent maintenence up to give me another... more

I stay at a lot of Hilton properties in Chicago-- good value for th $$ and most hotels are well reviewed. Hilton owns quite a few properties in Chicago and while I normally stay at either the Homewood Suites or Hilton Garden, this Embassy Suites had a better price and an extra bedroom. Check in was a breeze. Frontline staff... more

With a 5 and 8 year old; on a quick spring break. What a delightful hotel! An awesome breakfast every morning and cocktails and snacks every evening in the atrium are included in the price of your room! The rooms are clean and large; the staff was wonderful; great location for downtown Chicago! And fantastic restaurant! This is a great... more

Great location within walking distance to most area attractions. Clean, spacious rooms, comfy beds, and the best service! From the nice woman who made fresh coffee for me even though they were almost ready to close down breakfast, the friendly bar staff at reception hour, the great service at the concierge desk (Phillip tried hard to get Oprah tickets -... more

We were in Chicago for a few days as a Spring Break getaway - after reading all of the positive reviews here we were excited to see the hotel. Everything was as described - clean, friendly staff, excellent service. I am notoriously picky about hotels (my poor husband dreads taking me out of town!!) but this hotel met my high... more
