Excellent location, right next to the Handcock Observatory and a few meters from the Magnificent Mile, the Raffaello Hotel was a very nice surprise. We have to mention the excellent cafe at the ritz carlton across the street where we had very good dinners and breakfast. more

Spend the weekend at the Rafaello. We had a suite for $207/night. Nice, but nothing exceptional. Rooms were clean and well furnished. You can park in the garage 1 block east of the hotel for $26/night. Who still charges for the internet? Extremely small elevators. more

They really did a nice job with this hotel, and for the money, a super boutique value. I would not hesitate booking again with my colleagues. Some colleagues did complain about the smaller king rooms. I booked a suite. The rate wasn't much higher than the regular king, but the room is fantastic! One concern was the front desk service.... more

I stayed here from Jun 7-9 2009. Booked through Expedia and got a rate of $119 per night for a standard room. But they upgraded me to a suite with a seperate living room and bedroom. Pros: 1) Rooms were new and luxurious with all the amenities (microwave, HDTV, electronic safe, iron, ironing board, rainforest showerhead, hairdryer etc.) 2) The... more

Girls trip...3 sisters with daughters in their 20's. We had 2 rooms...very spacious and comfy. Bathroom could have been a bit bigger...especially the sink. Great location. Bar and restaurant under renovation...which we knew, but we did miss not having one. In all, great hotel/location for the price. We would definitely stay here again. more

I needed a nice place to stay for just one nigh, quick in-and-out trip to Chicago, and this was perfect for that. When I checked in they told me they had a suite available for me so they'd upgrade me at no cost. The room was HUGE. It actually consisted of about three rooms with a large sitting room, stocked... more

The title may be harsh, but: no restaurant, no bar, no pool, no breakfast opportunity, no parking facility, no thermostat, no room service... The street noise seemed as loud as if the windows were open. Poorly thought out window purchase for noise abatement. The rooms are nicely sized (suite) and furnished. An arm chair in the living room was badly... more

I made a last-minute reservation at the Raffaello and was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The hotel does not have its own parking lot, but parking is available directly across the street for $22/day, which is totally reasonable by Chicago standards. My room was pretty large and the bathroom was outstanding, although it did not have a bathtub. The hotel... more

Booked this Hotel through Traveleocity. for myself and a colleague for a two night stay in Chicago. Paid around $225 a night. I booked the hotel after reviewing all hotels in downtown Chicago in the same price range and with similar amenities. I wish I had booked one of the other hotels. Upon arrival at this hotel, we were greeted... more

I had a Saturday night stay here. I work for a travel agency so I was given an industry rate and an upgrade to the spacious deluxe suite. It was bigger than my NYC apartment and had a fantastic bed and shower, two flat screen TV's and a fabulous minibar. From the 16th floor I had a nice view of... more
