I loved this hotel - fabulous old building but with first class modern amenities. Great location, as it's so close to both lakeshore and city. Chicago is such a walkable city, so this was a superb base. The staff were just lovely - so very friendly and efficient. The room was wonderful - very, very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Great... more

I stayed in the Knickerbocker for 3 nights the second week of September. I could not have been more pleased with the location of the hotel in Chicago's Gold Coast immediately across from the Drake Hotel. It's in the block next to the John Hancock building and a block from some of the most amazing shopping you will ever encounter.... more

We enjoyed our stay at the Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel in Chicago. Upon arrival we were treated with great hospitality. The desk staff was friendly and took the time to visit with us about our room and its pros and what she thought might be a con - the size. Our room was small, but was beautiful and very comfortable. We... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel in Chicago for four nights in early September. We were very pleased throughout our stay. The room was small, yet comfortable and modern. I liked how the room was decorated with warm colors. The bed was AMAZING! The front desk was helpful and happily answered any questions that we had.... more

Visited Chicago for the Labour Day long weekend, had a great time and loved the Millennium Knickerbocker. As a woman travelling alone, I appreciated the location just off the Magnificent Mile as it always seemed well-populated and safe, even at night. The area can be a big crowded during the day as there are lots of shops & landmarks in... more

We stayed at this hotel for 10 days and could not fault the service we received. Its location was ideal for our visit to Chicago. Staff were very friendly and helpful and room was immaculate. I would recommend the show "Jersey Boys" to any visitor. Brilliant entertainment. more

Although the hotel itself appears a little worn outside/lifts/in the corridors, the rooms have been nicely renovated and the beds are very comfortable. View from window of another building wall was disappointing, but room still had enough natural light. Large flatscreen TV in room is nice, not that we had time to watch. Didn't use hotel bar or restaurant -... more
