The Talbott Hotel was exactly what we were looking for. The Talbott is located in a wonderful location (except for construction...I'll talk about that later). We stayed 3 nights at the Talbott hotel. And the experience was very positive. Tt was the cheapest hotel in the tripadvisor top 10 for Chicago, yet value was certainly not cheap: nice spacy rooms, huge flat screen TV, large badroom, all very clean. What a great place. The hotel is around the corner from great shops and attractions like the Sears Tower and about five to ten minutes walk to the beach. I stayed in a suite which was wonderful. We were in Chicago for a long weekend to celebrate a 20th Wedding Anniversary. The Talbott was the perfect choice to meet all of our needs. We stayed in King Suite and were impressed with the size of the room with a separate bedroom, living room area and extra large bathroom with soaking tub, shower and two vanities. Loved all... more
