The Doubletree is in a good location, walking distance to many shops and sights. The lobby is always busy. There were tons of out of town football fans there over the weekend.....3 busloads full of crazy Steelers fans! The rooms are nice sized and the beds are VERY comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful and I really enjoyed the decorum of the rooms. The staff was very informative about transportation, local attractions, and restaurants. more

Liked the location - they call it the Doubletree Magnificent Mile, but you're actually a couple of blocks off the Mag Mile. Felt very safe in this area. Booked this hoel on Priceline.com; got a great rate for it. Excellent downtown hotel with rooftop pool. Located north of downtown on the Magnificant Mile. We stayed at this Hotel the end of August, for three nights. The rooms were very clean and housekeeping was very nice they even put my grandsons stuffed anumals on his pillows like they were sleeping. Plenty of towels and constant replacement of toiletries.
