Maybe if you're Korean, maybe the place is "OK". If not, then 'fogettaboutit'. Panchans (for non-Koreans), not spicy and not much variety. Had to ask several times, until we got at least SOME of the real Korean stuff. As for the Cook at the Table Dinners, again we were not allowed to cook our own (while the Korean diners were).... more
For anyone who has ever eaten Korean food in LA or NY, Chicago Korean food just sucks almost all across the board! However, having said that, I think Cho Sun Ok is the only Korean restaurant in Chicago that can be in the same class as LA or NY. I haven't had anything other than their Chadolbaegi & Nengmyun, but... more

Chadol Baegi is amazing...best part is the rice they make afterwards (even though it's so spicy I can only eat a little). The mool naeng myun is so good and refreshing..especially after you eat the bbq meat. The place is TINY so plan to wait! more
go early and get the bulgogi more

my favorite korean bbq spot. its really small and if you're not korean nor know korean food well you'll probably be confused but fear not....the food is delish. the place is usually packed so either get there early or wait in a long line. and possibly expect to share tables with random people as well more
