Yummy ethiopian in a dark cozy space. Fav ethiopian in the city- my one complaint is that the service can be very slow. Also not the best honey wine (sorry that's two ;-) more

The place you want to take your date to. Good ambience, great food, and I believe they have live jazz during the weekday. Good restaurant for a small, not loud, group of friends. Staff is very helpful in explaining dishes and portions to you. more

My current first choice for Chicago Ethiopian. Expect authentic cuisine, the freshest "salata" and other ingredients, unbelievable prices (at most, leans toward one $ in the guides), cosey, and you won’t be disappointed.
