As a New Yorker I know that good diner is hard to find. This place fulfilled that constant need of mine, plus they have milkshakes! Our waitress, Pickles, made me laugh. Ed Debevic’s in Chicago was a fun place to eat when I lived in the Windy City 15 years ago. A fifties style eatery where the waitresses cracked their gum, sat at your table to take an order, and pinched papa’s butt under the table with a wink.
