Recommended by the front desk staff at the Conrad Hotel for a nice dinner. Fantastic view of Michigan Avenue. The live jazz was an added bonus. The service was great. We were told it would be a 35 minute wait, but were seated in 20. Small menu but with great choices. Food was flavorful. more

My wife and I dined at Bandera this summer. The location will fool you, because its located in the heart of the hustle and bustle of the Magnificent Mile, but its really not your typical "tourist trap" kind of restaurant. Bandera’s location is a bit tricky, it’s right on Michigan Avenue, close to the Intercontinental Hotel, but the entrance to the second floor is just a doorway on the street level. Imagine taking a standby American chain restaurant like Friday's, making the menu more interesting, and then having the ingredients and execution that of a really good restaurant. I really enjoyed it, and I'd definitely go back if I were in the area. Not cheap, but not very expensive, and a very good value. more

I love this cozy, casual place for one of the best salads in town - perfect respite from Michigan Avenue shopping and I like it best for lunch rather than dinner. more
