I've been a longtime fan of Keefer's - which usually gets less attention than traditional Chicago steakhouses. This restaurant delivers on excellent service and a consistently above par experience. One of the better dishes I have eaten in a while was their black bass covered with crusted crab. Also their crispy onion rings were very good. I would go back again. more

The filet mignon was excellent! It was cooked just the way I like it medium rare. I had that with a Mojito chilled perfectly with just the right about of mixtures.
