Ate at Catch 35 on recommendation from hotel concierge. Was a nice twist to regular seafood. Their menu has a Thai twist. Lots of tables in long room. Service was excellent. Food very tasty. I loved the Martha's Vineyard Salad. It was very different, so glad I chose it over a regular house or Caesar. For those not wishing to... more

We had dinner here a couple of weeks back while staying in Chicago downtown and Catch 35 was recommended among some other seafood restaurants by the hotel concierge. The location ,decor, service and atmosphere were average but nothing too outstanding. The menu items were expensive and the taste and portions (read tiny) were not really worth it. Honestly speaking if... more

We ate at Catch 35 prior to going to the theater. The food was outstanding, and our server was excellent, so knowledgeable about the wines and the different types of fresh fish they offer. There was a nice jazz trio in the bar area, and there were many people who looked like they were just there for happy hour. Nice... more

My husband requested a seafood restaurant to celebrate his b-day so I researched this to be one of the top seafood restaurants in Chicago. Elegant, fresh fish (you get to walk past all the filets to get to your seat)...absolutely exceeding my expectations. They even brought out a dessert w/candles on it. Let's put it this way...we were entertained by... more

We dined at Catch 35 on March 28, 2009 for dinner. The restaurant was located next to our hotel (Renaissance Chicago Hotel) and was the perfect choice before heading to the Broadway In Chicago production of "Mary Poppins". We had a reservation for 5:30pm but were seated promptly upon our arrival at 5:15pm. The restaurant has a very relaxing and... more

A busy restaurant with lots of tables, but also lots of staff who were polite and efficient. The food was good, but not quite 5 star- maybe a little over-cooked for my tastes. The menu was large and varied, with a good selection of fish to choose from. Overall, a good experience and definitely worth a visit if you are... more

Definitely a seafood specialty restaurant with a large variety of fresh seafood on the menu. Prices are reasonable for the fare and service is good. We went early prior to a theater performance because restaurant is located just a few blocks from the theater district. more
