We live in Chicago and this restaurant was recommend by friends and did not disappoint. The food was great, wine outstanding, not cheap, but fairly priced. Do not bring the kids, but great for an anniversary or special occasion since it is a bit expensive. more

Location is a little out of the way if you are a tourist, as I was. Food was mediocre. Food sounds better on the menu than it tasted. We had drinks at Sepia (awesome) around the block and thought the atmosphere there was better as well. We didn't try the food though. Not sure what all the hype is about... more

I visited Blackbird a year ago while on a trip to Chicago with a friend. We treated ourselves to the tasting menu which they were able to adjust for me (a vegetarian) without sacrificing options for my friend who would try anything once. If you chose to do the tasting option, don't skip out on the wine pairings - amazing.... more

We lucked out and managed a table at Blackbird without reservations (but I'd recommend making them). The interior is minimalist, white... and a tad noisy, but the service was amazing as was the food. I would highly recommend for a fabulous foodie experience! more
