I went to this place twice in one week for the fresh spring rolls (excellent) so tasty and the sauce served with them (wow). I had seafood curry one night for dinner and it was very nice. The smells just hit you when you walk in the door. I sat at the bar both times and had fantastic service from... more

We ordered mixed up variations of things on the menu and the staff accomodated our weird requests. Beef Coconut curry was awesome with the beef sitting rare on top of the curry instead of mixed in - you saw and tasted the quality of the meat. we tried tempura crab fritters, steamed veg & rice and coconut chicken soup (... more

We came in at about 9pm and I thought it was closed because all the bamboo blinds were rolled down. I was surprised to see the place packed-- like sardines in fact. The wait wasn't that long though, and even though the seating arrangements are very close to each other that you really have to squeeze through another person's chair... more

I have gone to Vong's many times over many years. The food is consistently excellent! I love the miso-glazed salmon, the tamarind beef tenderloin, or the Shrimp and Crab pad thai for my main course. The serving size is generous. You can not leave Vong's without trying the warm passion fruit souffle with homemade passion fruit ice cream! It is... more

Went to this restaurant for dinner with 7-year old son after not having eaten here for 3 years. Food is still terrific. He had Panang Chicken and I had Red Curry Pad Thai which was amazing. Before you order you get a tangy/spicy slaw that is a nice way to start the meal. My only complaint was that the tables... more

We love Vong's and go whenever we are in Chicago. The lunch menu is a great deal, and the atmosphere is perfect for a pre-theatre dinner. Their pad thais are great -- the crab pad thai is full of lump crabmeat and is delicious. The chicken chopped salad is great, as are the three rolls on the appetizer combo. But... more

Yum. I love their pad thai. Normally I like to branch out and try different things but... Hubby has tried other dishes that are good- but the Pad Thai is great. more

A very reasonably priced Thai fusion restaurant with good food. Although they say they are Thai with French influences, we wondered if they also had Vietnamese influences in the way they prepared some of the dishes. It's not authentic Thai but the food is good and the desserts are very good! more

A busy Thai restaurant (book ahead!) with tasty food and a nice selection of dishes. (Loved the spring rolls.) Could maybe do with a little more choice on the menu, with more of the robust red curries instead of the delicate green variety, but overall a good meal. more
