A co-worker who had recently been in Chicago knows my love for offbeat restaurants with good food, and told me about Heaven on Seven. When in Chciago we always go to Heaven On Seven for their gumbo; which is a thick gravy with chunks of meat topped with rice--delicious! The rest of the menu sadly is rather bland and tasteless although their specialty is spicy cajun food! Burgers in particular aren't very good!
