I have been to Roditys many times, and most recently on July 5th, 2009. Once again I wasn't disappointed. The food at Roditys is certainly good, and the prices are reasonable. If you're looking for a good meal in Chicago and you don't want to pay lot, this restaurant should be on your short-list. Absolutely one of the best (and oldest) traditions in Greektown. The food and service is top notch. A bottle of Roditys red table wine is only $20.00. Delicious lamb. Highly recommended and reasonably priced. more

I looked at the menus of various Chicago Greek restaurants before arriving and chose Roditys because of its Friday specials. Once there, I couldn't decide between the sweetbreads and the braised lamb in lemon/egg sauce with artichokes. Being indecisive, I ordered both. I've been traveling to Greektown in Chicago from NE Wisconsin for over 20 years, and by far my favorite Greek restaurant is Rodity's.
