We had lived in Chicago and started going to the Parthenon in the 60's. The food was great, the staff friendly and welcoming to our small children. The best food I've ever eaten. We ordered the family style vegetarian meal. There was so much food (3 people) we were stuffed and took home a shopping bag full of food that we ate for dinner the next day. The staff was great. Greek food made by real Greeks. I've been here quite a few times since moving up to Chicago. The food is always top notch. Sometimes the service can be slow, but it's always busy when I eat here.
