Enjoying a good old fashioned cheeseburger at Ditkas in a fine dining experience is one of the great joys of life! right next door to the Trement hotel - boutique hotel. You can even cross from the restaurant back to your room on one of the upper floors elevators. Crab and Lobster bisque soup are delicious as well. Crispy bread... more

I ate here with a few business colleagues earlier this week. Each of us had a variety of items off the menu and none of us were disappointed. I personally ate the following: Coconut Shrimp Appetizer - good, just like you would expect Chili - Very good BBQ Ribs - Delish!! Mike's Bloody Mary - a very good drink with... more

Reserved with opentable.com. Were seated in the front dining room. We are big sports people so all the memorabilia was a highlight for us. That is, until Da Porkchop came. Wow, what a porkchop it was!! We really enjoyed our meal. The wine list was impressive. One thing I noticed was that there was only one other woman in the... more

We stayed at the Tremont Hotel next door (great hotel). We stopped in for a few beers and an appetizer (the sushi - sooo good). We were eating at the bar and saw over to our right, there was Ditka eating with friends! How awesome! Some people bothered him for autographs and photos, the legend was eating leave him alone!... more

I was in Chicago on business and was invited out by a vendor to Ditka's. I have to admit that I'm a bit of a food snob and was a little disappointed about the choice of my host. To be honest, I was hoping for Gibson's or Merlot on Maple as I REALLY enjoy both of these restaurants! They are... more

This place is great, the only restaurant I have been to that has coat check and to-go orders. It's atmosphere is classy meets athletics. Cigars, sports memrabelia and excellent food. The servers are very attentive although the place has been packed every time we have been. Try the pot roast nachos as an appetizer. They are a perfect combination of... more

Recommended by our guide book and so we went and we were not disappointed. Infact went twice. Had the Fridge Burger first time - fantastic, really tasty. and then had the chicken and meatloaf the second time - wow!!! Never tried the pork chop which is seemingly the specialty but hopefully will go back. Setting is very sports orientated, being... more

I came here with no expectations - it was my boyfriend's choice as he is a bear's fan. The service was great, it was a quiet night and our waiter, Jeff, chatted to us about all sorts - really friendly, knowledgable and helpful. He even sorted me out a complimentary Mountain Dew as I had never tasted it before! Be... more

Chosing where to celebrate my son's college graduation was a big deal to me. After reading many reviews, wanting a special dinner but not an $80 steak, we finally decided on Ditkas. It was a wonderful choice. The service, ambiance, food and check were awesome. We are not drinkers but did get steaks, soups and desserts for 6. Our check... more
