This place is great, the only restaurant I have been to that has coat check and to-go orders. It's atmosphere is classy meets athletics. Cigars, sports memrabelia and excellent food. The servers are very attentive although the place has been packed every time we have been. Try the pot roast nachos as an appetizer. They are a perfect combination of... more

Recommended by our guide book and so we went and we were not disappointed. Infact went twice. Had the Fridge Burger first time - fantastic, really tasty. and then had the chicken and meatloaf the second time - wow!!! Never tried the pork chop which is seemingly the specialty but hopefully will go back. Setting is very sports orientated, being... more

I came here with no expectations - it was my boyfriend's choice as he is a bear's fan. The service was great, it was a quiet night and our waiter, Jeff, chatted to us about all sorts - really friendly, knowledgable and helpful. He even sorted me out a complimentary Mountain Dew as I had never tasted it before! Be... more

Chosing where to celebrate my son's college graduation was a big deal to me. After reading many reviews, wanting a special dinner but not an $80 steak, we finally decided on Ditkas. It was a wonderful choice. The service, ambiance, food and check were awesome. We are not drinkers but did get steaks, soups and desserts for 6. Our check... more

One of the rudest and most offensive restaurant in Chicago with over the top prices with an unpleasant after taste. My friends and I stopped by on 5-15-09 for a quick drink a bite to eat at the downstairs bar. Probably the wrong thing to do as the bar staff was not too thrilled having their bartending disturbed by dining... more

My wife and I recently visited Chicago, staying at the Sofitel which is a block away from Ditka’s on the way to Michigan Street, so naturally we stopped by a few times for lunch and drinks. Basically the place is a high end all American sports bar with memorabilia from Da Coaches career. Growing up in IN I basically had... more

On March 26, 2009 I dined at this restaurant with a friend. We ordered the crab cakes and split them. We both had lemon seeds in the crab cakes. I ordered the chicken with grilled vegetables. I had them wrap half the order which I brought home. Two days later I opened the container and found a green crayon in... more

Yesterday was my second visit to Ditka's Oak Brook, Illinois, in the past four months. Both times everything was superb! The Pot Roast Nachos and Da Chops (cooked medium, as the chef recommends) with mashed sweet potatoes are out of this world. The Bloody Mike (served with a beer chaser and a skewer filled with a huge green olive, pepperoncini... more

The pot roast nachos appetizer is the best. They alone are worth the trip to Mike Ditka's. The steaks here are fantastic...upscale steak house quality. Side dishes are huge...we ordered broccoli and got a whole head of it. The banana cream pie is a fine way to end an already over-indulgent dinner. It's pricey to dine here, but the food... more

We were visiting the new Ditka's Restaurant in Pittsburgh. We waited quite a while to be seated but then again, it was busy and they had just recently opened up. We were seated, and it took at least 20 minutes for us to even be greeted by our server. Another 15 minutes to receive a glass of wine and a... more
