Just went recently after many years. It has held up well. Still smells strongly of garlic due to the fact you get roasted garlic to put on your bread. Delicious. My tuna sandwich was wonderful. We ordered the fries/onion rings combo--it was great but it's about enough for four people! Beware :) This is still a great choice for lunch... more

the food is really nothing special, worse...the pasta made me think of canned pasta. Not had that since I went camping. more

Nice little place to duck into when you want to flee the Michigan Ave crowds. I've been there a couple times with mixed results. Overall I would say it is better than average. more
This is my all time favorite place for Sunday brunch in Chicago. The New Orleans jazz quartet has played there for years and the food is to die for. The roasted garlic delivered to every table with bread, jam, and butter tops it off beautifully! more
I was in Chicago for 5 days recently and ate lunch here twice because I had such a good experience! Right along Michigan Avenue, it's convenient. It has a series of small dining rooms, superior wait staff, and excellent French food. The portions, however, are American sized so you won't feel the need to over-order.
