When I go downtown to Chicago, Filippo's is one of my first choices for dinner. The food is excellent - top quality ingredients and well-executed preparation make the salads, pastas, and main courses reliably delicious. Among my preferred dishes - an asparagus appetizer prepared with smoked mozzeralla and procuitto, an "ignorante" salad made up of fresh mozzerella, basil, tomatoes, artichoke... more
