Charming little restaurant in Old Town..inside and outside seating. Great staff and great service! the breakfast choices are amazing and there is such a variety of dishes that they serve. We went for breakfest on Sunday and it was VERY busy. The wait (30+ min) was very well worth it. The food was hot and very well prepared. I can't wait to visit again. Nookies is just down the street from The Second City. It is a great little diner- good prices for good food. The lunch menu includes soup and a side with your meal. It is a very clean restaurant and the staff are very friendly. I definitely recommend you stop in if you are in the area! more

This cash only breakfast and lunch spot located in Old Town is simply put...AWESOME!! The wait is often long when you go during prime time eating hours, and even worse in the summer (they do have some outdoor seating). It is all worth the wait to eat here. My mother and I ate at Nookie's on Sunday morning. Fun place. Very casual. Affordable. Cash only. I had the Wild Bleu Omelet (ham, blue cheese, and asparagus) with hash browns and toast.
