Orso's is not the best Italian restaurant in the city, but its quite good. The menu is a mix of authentic Italian dishes and Italian American cuisine. I usually get whatever the daily fish special is and I'm rarely disappointed. The veal entrees are also good. If one of their dishes has a wine sauce, I almost always love it.... more
Loved the atmosphere. I thought the food was just average and nothing to say I'd crave. For starters we had the Brushetta. I have personally made better at home. The tomatoe topping was good but the bread it come on was almost burnt and not toasted very well on the other side. We also had the mussels in a wine... more
Orso's is on Wells St in Old Town. Traditional Italian food in a beautiful setting. We sat in the back patio and it felt like Italy. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful, too, dark and romantic. Nice outdoor seating, decent pizza, good cocktails, ok wine selection, italian food other then pizza is not so great more
Quintessential old-style chicago italian - still owned by original owner and run by his daughter...excellent back garden - heaters for chilly weather - great bar inside and out - we got married there! Will never forget it. You will be treated well there! more
