went on my birthday last year.. my pasta was excellent, had the gnocchi. my mom did not care for hers- bollegnese. (sp?) overall- good place. but, there are so many more great italian places in chicago. more

Tasty pasta, never too busy, nice atmosphere and good service. Oh, and get the bread pudding...so yummy! more
The plan was to have a romantic dinner before a show, and we did have a good time. The food was excellent no doubt about it, but the ambiance was not above average. I dont know if I would say it a good place for a quiet and romantic dinner. The seating was uncomfortable and the tables are tightly packed.... more

I found Gioco's on a Chicago travel web site- it seemed interesting as we were headed to Chicago for the weekend & wanted to try something different. It's set on S. Very good! We enjoyed the meatball antipasti and homemade noodles, but the autumn creme bruele was the best! Great setting. more
