River North is a touristy section of Chicago, but this restaurant doesn't seem to fit,. With great service and very tasty food, we really enjoyed passing by the other options and heading to this great Indian dining experience. We stumbled upon this restaurant after fleeing the three hour wait at La Frontera. The food was surprisingly good, authentic, and plentiful. more

Great food. And the staff was so attentive and nice. Our waiter Leo did everything to help out. Our son ordered a bit to spicy food (madras curry) and he brought him a special yogurt drink with out asking - he just observed that the food probably was to strong for him. This is the first time I tried Indian food, and it was amazing! Everything was excellent, from the food to the service. I would definitely go again! $50 for two for lunch, though... without alcohol! more

This place has delicious authentic indian food. They start you off with naan bread and dip (for free!), and the food was sooooo yummy that we could have eaten there everyday. The definate negative is that it was on the pricey side ($15 a dish), plus rice is not free as with all other restaurants! plain rice was $5! Service... more
