West Town Tavern is a gem of a place offering fabulous wines (including an exceptional selection of those by the glass) and terrific regional and seasonal comfort food (including their melt-in-your-mouth pot roast which has a deservedly cult-like following, incredible slow cooked BBQ lamb, and mouth-watering desserts). West Town Tavern is a really nice, cozy spot. The food is really great and the service is friendly. The decor is nice, with dark walls, and good lighting. The bar is in a good location near the front windows. Great menu, great wine and beer list. All in all, a great spot! more

A group of 4 of us went to dinner there and had a great time. The "Contemporary Comfort Food" is exactly what you will get. GET THE POT ROAST! It just fell apart and the sauces with each dish were well fitted to each dish. Service was very good. They didn't rush us. This is a good date night place... more
