It's my favorite local restaurant for pasta and italian in the quaint Lincoln Park neighborhood. We always go home with goodie boxes and we always have a good meal. Loved the white beans on the salad and the menu offers some interesting pastas. Atmosphere is pretty low key and the bar next door is fun. more
My sister took me to the Pasta Bowl during my recent visit to Chicago (March 08). I had the Conchiglie Gorgonzola and it was AMAZING. It's been a week and I'm still craving it. Pretty small spot but good salad and pasta dishes. Everything is very fresh too and at a small price. more
While not fine dining by any means, the Pasta Bowl does what it does very well. You can walk in whatever you are wearing and have fresh pasta made before your eyes.
