Blue Agave is more like a bar where food is served than anything else. Fairly standard Tex-Mex offerings, average quality, prices are quite reasonable for this neighborhood. I like the chiles rellenos and the taco salad. Because the bar is the main emphasis here, the place tends to be noisy and service relatively inattentive -- especially if you're not drinking... more

I live in Indiana and when in Chicago, make an effort to visit for anything with steak, especially the tacos. Salsa is spicy and has great flovor. more

MArgaritas were okay--good, but I've had better--Food was okay--standard Tex-Mex food. But lack of service was the deal-breaker which will keep me away--Barstaff was too bust talking among themselves to pay any attention. Seemed annoyed when we asked them for help. We had to ASK for our change back--the barmaid said 'we round off her"..What?? I work in retail and... more
