I sampled Robinson's No. 1 Ribs last year at Taste of Chicago and recently got a chance to go the restaruant on Armitage. The ribs are the best I have had in Chicago. They cut the rack into individual ribs which is nice, and they come wet, but ask for them dry and apply your own sauce. They have three... more

Robinson's slow cooked ribs are just plain wonderful. Reasonable prices, home-cooked and slow cooked, delicious! The restaurant is located right next to a high school, so don't go there around lunch time on a weekday unless you like kids! more

Ribs (and rib tips) were OK. I'm a molasses and brown sugar sauce sort of guy, and Robinson's sauce is more of a ketchup and vinegar base (kind of orange) Onion rings were nothing special (all six of them) 6.5 out of 10 more
