Upon discovering it, we went there twice in a row! Hesitant at first glance but clean, good service, & awesome food! Recommend large steak salad with nice greens, the reddest tomatoes, and a wonderful, homemade, creamy garlic dressing. Steak was tender. Stumbled upon this place one morning waiting for Sears Tower to open. We had a fantastic breakfast of bacon, eggs, sausage, pancakes, coffee etc. The service and atmosphere were really lovely, and the food very satisfying. We are planning another breakfast there when we return next month. more

Conveniently located right next to the Palmer House, we just walked right next door to grab a bite. The food and service was great. I'm looking forward to eating here again on my next trip to Chicago. -D.R. more

It's a diner on State Street. Plain 'ol American classics, and from my recollection it wasn't that great either. more

This is a local restaurant that my husband and I found in 2005 while we were visiting Chicago. A local in the area suggested we go there. We went for breakfast. The food was delicious, as well as generous portions. We went back in 2006 and received the same great service and great food. Kim Dayton OH more
