Very common...the day that I went it was summer and it was like 100 degrees outside and they did not turn on the air conditioning!! I couldn't even enjoy my meal because I was dripping in sweat....We had to beg for water and our waiter was sooooo slow. more

We enjoyed a fantastic appetizer tray, then fajitas for two seved in a hot stone bowl, the staff was friendly and attentive. We had a view of the Chicago skyline as the sun began to set, finished with a Margarita and walked to Lake Michigan with great feelings about this huge cosmopolitan Midwestern city. more

The service and food has gotten progressively worse since Zapatista opened. My last and final visit was on Sunday, Feb. 24th. Customers had to wait 30 minutes because the hostess refused to seat people in another section of the restaurant. We sat in the bar area waiting to be seated. IWell I picked this place out of the blue for my Birthday meal. Guess I should stick to what I find on the net or in books. The service was prompt and friendly.
