We came here after dinner for dessert and wine. We had the hot chocolate cake and a quartino of wine each. Incredible! It's a classy place with thin crust Italian pizza, though we didn't get to try it. They have a heated covered sidewalk area so we sat outside and people watched even though it was a mild October night.... more

Always wonderful. We can't visit Chicago without a meal at Quartino! From the bellinis to the amazing meats and cheeses, and the tasty pastas. All are a hit with our family. The veal meatball sliders were a favorite of our son. Great service and management visited our table to make sure all was meeting our needs. more

This is the most amazing Italian food in the world! You have to try to the fondue, and I recommend ordering it with the apples. It's so delicious that I could eat it with a spoon. It's kind of a sweet cheese fondue. This is a great place to take friends or family, especially if everybody is ok with sharing... more

Cute little place with good food and drinks. The food is very reasonable. It's not a tapas place per say, but they do have plates of cold cuts and cheeses, and they do have smaller plates to share. But they also have awesome salads, pastas, and pizza. Very affordable as well, especially for downtown Chicago. Extensive wine list, including house... more

Quartino's is sort of an Italian tapas bar, or maybe a sushi bar, without the bar. The manager was everywhere the night we visited, stopping to ask us (and almost everyone else) about the meal. Presumably as a result of this attention to detail, the service was excellent. The food intentionally comes in sharable portions with an ample supply of... more

This was a wonderful restuarant we stumbled across. We came without a reservation, but since they have a nice bar area, we didn't mind waiting. The wait wasn't long and we got the best outdoor table. We ordered pizzas, and from the first bite, I fell in love -- it was WONDERFUL! The service was attentive but not intrusive. And... more

This place is fantastic all around. You get outstanding service and treated as if you are in a 5 star restaurant. The manager visits every table and insure all is well. With this in mind, you can't find a better meal for the price hardly anywhere. The restroom attendants are another feature that adds to the luxury of this place.... more
