We stopped @ this 'diner' for lunch this last Saturday while in town for a Gourmet Food Shopping excursion and were blown away by the selection of food on the menu. We went expecting standard diner fare and ended up with some of the best fresh fish, seafood and soups that we have encountered in some time. The fresh catch... more

Unique BYO with enormous selection of fresh fish. The place is small but it has good atomosphere and great service. Get there early on the weekends though b/c they run out of many of the fish selections. They are also open for brunch and have a cereal bar. more

One of the best fresh seafood restaurants in the Chicago area. I love Catch 35...but Glenn's is better (and more reasonably-priced). In addition to great seafood, the menu offers much diversity...everything from ribs to sandwiches and great salads. There aren't many restaurants that I'll come back to multiple times w/in a month - but Glenn's is definitely one of those... more

We were not impressed, found the menu expensive, wine price $8 and served in a small juice glass, staff unfriendly, rush you in and out, tables too close together, people lean on you as they go between tables, food average and costs $17 - $30 for dinner without salad. The parking is a problem, meters on the street, when the... more

Just had a wonderful dinner at Glenn's. I have eaten at this restaurant at least ten times and every time it is great. The fish is fresh and tasty. I tried a salad tonight and it was one of the best I've ever had, especially for only $8.95. You can bring your own wine for a $5 corkage fee or... more

People, know your information, if you please. I live right down the street. The chef is a man who was a partner at the Davis Street Fish Market several years ago. He is an expert and produces brilliant fish dishes through a carefully designed system to get fresh fish and not waste it. That's why they're out of several kinds... more

Great breakfasts, great lunches, great dinners. It's a big statement to say you have the best food in the world and Glenn's delivers. The pretzel encrusted talapia, world's largest shrimp (one shrimp) cocktail. Get the mimosa for breakfast, last time I went there Robyn & I had 5!! Yummy, yummy, yummy. It's super small so MAKE A RESERVATION! more

Great fresh fish, reasonable prices and Miller Lite 40s. Plus, a bottomless bowl of cereal in the morning. Gotta love it. more

Not bad if departing from the "L" train next door on the way home. But I wouldn't make a special trip. Their latest banner proclaims "15 kinds of fish, $13.99" For a place with a dozen tables, how can they have 15 kinds of fish, fresh, each day? I suspect frozen. But then, that could be better than days old.... more

Comfort food on the healthy side. I think it's fine, but know a lot of people who love it. Fish seems to be their specialty but it's not my thing. more
